Finnian Murphy was feeling pretty bloody amazing. He'd been happy to offer his services when Darcy Delaney asked about a party for those too young to attend the Yule Ball, and it was certainly becoming clear why. He'd charmed all the plants to shine silver and blue for a winter theme, frosting over the glass and smiling at his work. The most difficult part of the preparation process had been getting his piano from his quarters to the greenhouses, until he realised that a simple "reducto" spell could have the instrument sitting in his pocket happily without any noticeable damage. As soon as an enlargement charm was uttered, it sat happily in the middle of the room, a little tinsel around the edges for fun.
"Aye, tha's a beautiful thing," Finny muttered to himself before jogging over to the door. He had to officially greet his student guests, of course. Had to turn away all those who weren't nice and properly dressed up, after all. And he wasn't sure he'd tolerate more than hand holding from the older third years, unless they hid behind one of the trees in the back and he missed it due to his enthusiasm for a Weird Sisters song he'd perfected recently. Ah well! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO HOGWARTS, eh!?
