Rae walked into class, absolutely dreading it. Next year she was dropping the class, but until then she was stuck with this thing teaching them. Disgusting really, why would Dumbledore ever think to let him teach them. It was absolutely dreadful.
Slipping into her desk, she set her things out as she looked up at the board. Oh a lecture...about Voldemort. At that she settled back into her chair, at least they would be learning something a little interesting. Not the usual bore. Already she was bored with the class, when would it end?

Paying attention wasn’t exactly Ben Connelly’s forte. Despite it being one of his better classes, he always managed to have a hard time staying focused. Besides, he knew all of this! It wasn’t as if all those books he read were about nothing, after all. He knew about Harry Potter and Voldemort’s second rise!
Grumbling about the assignment and class in general, Ben took a seat in the back of the room and slouched into a chair, bag plunked on the floor unceremoniously. Making sure the Professor couldn’t see, he whipped out a book and began to read.

The Years of Terror? That didn't seem too bad to Isaac as he sat down. Depending on how much information he found, he could write at least a roll of parchment easy. He always enjoyed this subject because it was so simple, even for a muggleborn, like himself. It was just a matter of staying awake during lectures, yet Profressor Atticus was a great orator when came to history, so it was pretty easy to stay awake. The bad part about this class was that he had to share with several people that loathed him entirely, Adriana Winters being the main one. He could just imagine them muttering obscenities about him under their breath, but then again, Adriana had always said he wasn't worth her time, so maybe they didn't

Sighing softly, Adriana entered into the History of Magic classroom along with a few fellow Slytherins. Although she did enjoy the subject, the class itself was another story. Taking her usual seat at the back, she got comfortable and after a few minutes of chatter, looked to the front board for the current lesson. The year of terror? She scoffed under her breath as she read it; this current year class was more like the year of terror. Full of mudbloods and other worthless humans that liked to refer to themselves as wizards. Ha!
Slowly, Adriana got her bookbag open and took out her things. As usual, she completely ignored those she didn't like, Isaac Williamsworth being one of them. After that bloody project they were forced to work on, she had quite enough of him!

He heard the chatter of more students coming it, all sounding smug voices, which could only mean one thing, Slytherins. Bloody hell. He made just a glance back and saw them all, including Adriana, then looked back foreward and down to his book. As he read more up on the assignment, he thought.
Thank Heavens for that project to be over so I don't have to work with her anymore. I see enough of her in class, and I'd rather spend my free time somewhere other than in her majesty's tensious prescence. Dear God, what if she ever made Minister of Magic? Or what about muggle Prime Minister? God help us all.
Isaac turned back to the assignment, trying to no longer dwell on Adriana, and starting to think of something more pleasant. Astrid. There. That was better.

I will be giving a lecture on the times of Harry Potter, and the Second Rise of Voldemort. You have no assignment other than to try and pay attention!

Using your book, write me a timeline on the seventies, also called the Years of Terror. Make it over one roll of parchment!
