Daphne sat on one of the couches in the common room, idly flipping through her textbooks. She wasn't in the mood to study, but it was something to do. She was dreadfully bored. She'd not had a single run-in with anyone all day. Things had been downright peaceful. How she loathed that!
She dropped the book distastefully into her lap and glanced around the common room. It was rather empty for this hour. Then again, most of her housemates were probably busy stuffing their miserable faces. So many unworthy mudbloods filthying up Slytherin house made her angry.
Though, there were still a few worthy companions left her, even now. She hadn't seen most of them in what seemed a while. Seventh year was proving much too busy for them all. She sighed and glanced up in time to notice someone entering the common room.
