It was supposed to be their tradition; every Friday, they met for the sunrise.
Though really, what it had kind of turned into, was every other Friday, they met for the sunrise and had a happy morning. Those other times seemed to get in the way. However, as two Fridays ago was pretty rotten, she was banking on a perfect Friday this week.
Andra was on her way to the entrance to Ravenclaw tower, but as she walked down the main corridor, next to the large stone windows, she became distracted. There were still light patches of snow along the ground, and it made a smile come to her lips. She recalled that discussion she and Tobias had, about sitting outside in the snow. Too bad it wasn't snowing now, but she supposed they'd eventually have to work up to such a thing.
She stood there, just off the passageway that led to Ravenclaw's common room, leaning over the ledge and smiling softly. It was so peaceful out there, still and quiet. Even the lake looked like glass, with soft mist rising off of it in the early morning hours. She idly hoped it would be a sunny morning; what a sight that would be to see colours bouncing off the mist, mixing with the snow on the bank.
