Ari was still very much confused by the misdirected owl that she had received earlier that week. Andra and Gabe? That was hard to believe. Last time she checked, Andra and Tobias were perfectly fine so it seemed odd that she was cheating on him with Gabe. There was just something so wrong about the whole scenario. Maybe Gabe only liked Andra? But the letter seemed to imply that something was going on. Still, she couldn't imagine Andra hurting Tobias by gallivanting off with the head boy. Hurm. Ari was determined to get to the bottom of this. Instead of dismissing the letter as a prank, which was obviously the most logical solution, she looked for a fellow student who was very much in the know.
“Rae!” Ari called as she hurried out of the charms room to catch up with the Slytherin. “Can I talk to you?” In typical Ari-fashion, she didn’t want for a reply. “Have you heard anything about the Head Boy and Girl?” If something was going on between them, Rae would have probably heard about it. Hogwarts was a very bad place to keep secrets, after all. Of course, Ari hadn’t heard about it and she was usually wonderful at keeping up with all of the latest gossip. So maybe that was a hint that the letter was fake? Obviously Ari didn’t think so.
