Week Name/Date/Time: 'Trick or Treat' / Tuesday, November 1st / 1:00 pm Location: First Floor, around the Auror's quarters Open To: Rylie firstlike, then Bastian Currently Involving: Kat
Rylie probably would have shown up sooner had she not had so many journals! She was shocked to discover she'd already filled three that she'd planned on using, and another was for personal thoughts! Searching through her trunk, she'd managed to stumble upon a blank one. After scribbling 'Newspaper' on the cover, she'd made her way to the corridor Kat was currently sitting in the middle of. Giving her friend a raised eyebrow and a look clearly meaning 'a bit eager, are we?', she tapped her own quill on the journal and sighed.
"Comfortable?" she asked before clicking her tongue and searching for any sign of life. Not many aurors about, it appeared.
"Now, did you have someone specific in mind for this article, or were you expecting me to make some connections?" Rylie asked, a twinkle in her eye and a smirk on her face.
If there was anyone that loved writing as much as she did, it was Kat.
Ah there she was! Kat whipped her head around to face Rylie and shot her a small grin. She bounced slightly on her seat and patted the spot beside her. Yes, she was comfortable. Always sat about on hard benches waiting for people... well, she did actually. If not always then a lot.
"Ohhhh both. Either, or?" she replied vaguely, still intently on looking up and down the halls. It didn't do to dwell on murders and things. Or at least, it didn't for Kat. She was swayed towards distractions, and even better if they were distractions with a purpose.
Standing up abruptly, as though she had to physically 'spring into action' as well as mentally, she sat back down again and hissed at Rylie, "Alright, if one comes out, I'll go for the legs and you can ask the questions. Your penmanship's heaps better."
Apparently Kat hadn't expected anything. She'd obviously just had an idea and was running with it. Rylie could appreciate that, of course. She didn't always linger on details, though she did so more often than not.
To be honest, Rylie was a bit nervous about this one. The aurors were a bit busy after the um... murders had taken place. As much as Rylie doubted she or Kat would be asking anything about them... in fact, it was probably a completely unrelated article they were going for, she couldn't help but think they would assume that's what it was about and send them away.
"Well, when you put it that way..." Rylie responded with a small chuckle and scanned the area once more.

It was only a matter of time, really.
