"Don't you just want to chuck away all of Slytherins?" Lexi questioned gently as she walked over to where Erik was currently sitting, glancing to the hourglasses herself. She had overheard his incantations and decided to offer some company; the two of them didn't have much interaction this year.

She gave Erik a devious smile as she looked over to him. "I know I sure do."

Chuck away all the Slytherins? Yes, that was a very appealing idea. Though, he couldn't say he knew them all personally. There were bound to be a few polite ones, right? Oh well. Sacrifices had to be made, and Erik couldn't help but grin at Lexi as she joined him.

"Of course! Why not? They've only proved to be useful in... well, nothing. Keep sending me to the hospital wing, the prats!" Erik said jokingly and stood up.

Brushing off his robes, he shoved his hands in his pockets and watched her curiously for a moment. They hadn't spoken much this year, had they? And she was always so nice and all.

"Er... sorry if my random outburst with the Finnish language confused you. Didn't know anyone was listening," he said with a smirk and glanced back at the hourglasses.

No difference as of yet. Bugger.

Julian saw Erik and Lexi sitting together in the Enterance Hall, and began to wonder why he was just there staring at the hourglasses full of gems. He made his way over and sat silently right next to him and stared at the hourglass for Gryffindor as well. He tilted his head, trying to figure out what was so special about it that it caught their attention. It seem kind of boring and perplexing to Julian why anyone would just come over here and do this. He and Erik were both pretty ridiculous in there own time but this just seemed stupid.

He finally looked to Erik as well as Lexi and said "What's so great about it? Why are you staring at it?" He was trying to understand just why. It didn't make any sense to even him, and like he had thought before, it seemed boring.

Lexi gave a bright smile back to Erik, and she nodded in agreement with him. "Couldn't agree with you more." How true it was -- who needed them?! And especially after they had recently put Erik's family through. Lexi had a momentary urge to stuff each of those green gems up all of their noses.

After he stood up from the floor, Lexi inched forward a bit, walking closer to him and the frozen hourglasses.

Looking over to him again, she chuckled and shook her head softly. "Oh, is that what it was?" Her smile widened a bit more as she continued. "I thought it was some kind of a very odd charm!" Of course, Lexi had no clue how to translate or speak in Finnish, but she always liked foreign languages. "Either way, it's fine." Lexi glanced over to the hourglasses again and then spotted Julian staring at them.

"Hello, Julian." She gave him a small wave then looked back to Erik.
