Happy Birthday to Juhi!

Open To: THE BIRTHDAY GIRL! + Friends of Juhi, Ravenclaws of all shapes and sizes, approved non-Claws (Juhi's non-Claw mates must have permission from Emmy to sneak in, of course, as she's in charge of things here and is handling any and all sneaking-in personally. And as Juhi's a prefect, it must be discreet! ;) )

Emmy was sure she'd outdone herself. The Common Room was decorated in splendor. The room absolutely shined with glitter and streamers and dancing fairy lights. A wand was a very handy tool in decorating, as she had learned from a very early age. Thank goodness for her mother, or this would have been much more difficult. And perhaps Nate had helped, just a bit, sending a few things to her last minute from London, with many happy wishes for the birthday girl.
In the center of the room, there was a round, raised platform, and sitting in the very center of that, there was a throne. Well, it was one of the usual armchairs transfigured to look like a throne. A rather smashing job, if Emmy could say so herself. The rest of the furniture was pushed aside to make room for the number of regal velvet carpets (blue and bronze, of course) covering the floor, and to one side of the room, a long table was laid out with all the treats from Honeydukes, with room for the things most likely filched from the kitchens by any students prone to such activities.
Near the entrance, there was another table, laid out with all the dressings she had bought at Scrivenshaft's and Gladrags, with an announcement charmed to hang in the air and thwart anyone who dared pass by the table without creating (and then wearing) a hat. To the other side of the entrance, was a nearly empty table, just waiting for all of Juhi's gifts to join Emmy's, already there wrapped in bright paper and bows.
She stood in the center of the common room, just in front of the platform, admiring her handiwork. She was decked out in a stylish outfit all of her own design. The dress was pink and seemed to sparkle. It fell in a jagged hem to her knees and had an overlay of sheer lace. Her hair was done up in a high, fancy bun with curls falling out of it, and around the bun was a very petite tiara, which was the hat Emmy had made for herself with the hat supplies, then transfigured to be something more than just a bit of parchment.
She liked to think it made her look something like a fairy princess, but it was not a costume, no. It was a party dress like no other. Halloween would not take precedence over the beloved Juhi's birthday! In fact, Emmy had a rather lovely crown already prepared for the birthday girl. Emmy might be a princess, but she planned to make Juhi look and feel a queen tonight!
Everything was ready. Now all that was left to do was await the arrival of the guests! It was just a few moments before the appointed time. Eight o'clock and the magic would begin! Emmy grinned, and clapped her hands in excitement and anticipation. She absolutely couldn't wait for the others to arrive now.
