For once, Rylie was not writing, though her journal and quill were close by. Instead, she sat at a back table at the Three Broomsticks, sipping on a cocoa with a book propped up in front of her. While what she had told Preston still remained true (she wanted to have a career with more magic involved), she couldn't quite let go of the thought of writing a novel. She had decided that whether she pursued a career as a novelist or not, she was going to get at least one book published. It was a dream, and one did not get rid of dreams so easily.
She hummed quietly to herself as she turned the pages, eyes scanning for something to stick in her mind. When a word appealed to her, she went back to her routine of mentally placing it with synonyms. Hollow (vacant, void, empty, unfilled, concave, infundibular). It made her smile just slightly as she took another sip of her cocoa.
