((*the eyeballs eat you*))

Just a moment... something was wafting through the smell of dusty castle and wet grass. Why, was it?... Yes, yes it was. Arrogant Irishman.

Katherine turned her head up to face the boy, managing not to grin as he made a ridiculous entrance. Always with the dramatics. She blinked several times as she called her by 'Kate'. She really didn't mind people calling her different names, only she was quite sure he didn't do it out of endearment.

"Why Sly, I was just thinking of you. How many dungbombs this week then? I need a number you know," she tapped her notepad with the end of her quill and nodded promptly, "Hard facts, dear."

Grinning up at him, she managed to balance her chin on the quill tip. Yes, heighth of professionalism. Lying to make jibes, she knew how many of the silly things he'd set off. Reluctantly, of course.

He feigned innocence, fluttering his lashes over doe-like eyes.

"Dungbombs? I know not of what thou speakest, bonny Kate, and sometimes Kate the curst, But Kate, the prettiest Kate in Christendom, Kate of Kate Hall, my super-dainty Kate- For dainties are all Kates-and therefore, Kate, Take this of me, Kate of my consolation: I would never commit so foul a deed..." dramatic pause-- "...and own to it." Cue inner cackling. One, because he basically referred to Katherine as a shrew, and two, because he is the master of crime and therefore knows better than to confess.

He moistened his lips and eyed her mischievously, awaiting a reaction.
Ever since that SUCKER PUNCH in Fourth Year, he lived to bait her. Mwahaaa.

Well, really. Katherine's expression flickered into a pout for a moment, before a wry smile overtook her face again. Quoting things at her, dramatics was overwhelmingly correct.

"Alright then Petrucchio," she replied coolly, pocketing her notepad and standing up, "If you're going to be unhelpful, I might as well find another bench to sit at, hrm?" she went on, taking her quill and prodding his shoulder with it.

Pocketing it, Kat wiggled her fingers at him and grinned slightly. He was annoying as all get out, but terribly difficult to be cross at. Then again, Kat found it hard to remain cross at most people. Nevertheless, keep up appearances dearie. Turn away, turn awaaay.
