It was all about the brewing!
She had, however, decided that she'd forgo her 10 a.m. study hall, and bump it down to another evening study hall instead. It was too nice of a morning to be stuck in one place, bored out of her mind.
So, she headed back to the common room to grab a few things, and saw Trent strutting down the corridor. Her brow quirked, and she offered him a warm smile.
"You look happy," she mused, crossing her arms as she slowed down and approached him.
((Woo!! I was just thinking that we still haven't threaded them! XD))

"And where are we headed on this fine morning?" Trent had always been wary of using 'we' in those sort of sentences, especially since he loathed it when professors did things like that. "Hahaa, we. Don't you think it would be a whole lot better if I just said, you know, where are you headed on this fine morning? Because I obviously already know where I'm going, yeah? Merlin. English is right confusing!"
Somehow he'd gotten off on that language tangent, but now he was going back to the matter at hand--mischief! When that had become the matter at hand Trent was unsure of, but he would take it all in stride. "ANYWAY! Just thought I might, uh...see what sort of things 'round here need turning upside-down, if you catch my meaning."

As he asked where they -- technically she -- was heading to, and then wandered off down a rabbit trail of English and grammar, she laughed again. "I," she replied, pointing to herself as if to make absolute certain that there was no doubt who they were speaking of, "am going in the opposite direction! Both in direction and in mischief!"
She grinned, then put her hands on her hips as she looked around the hall. If there were the few she could truly be herself around, it was the Gryffindors. Most of them had prodded her out of her shell around the common room long ago. And besides, Trent's happy mood was definitely rubbing off on her!
"Wouldn't it be just as amusing to turn yourself upside down, and then wander about while you should probably be in class?" She smirked playfully, knowing full well nearly the only ( ... )
