Shihoko was, for once, the first one to arrive. She let her bag fall to the floor next to her seat as she stared at the board. "Penubral..." she murmured and blinked curiously. She dove into her bag and pulled out her english to japanese dictionary. It was such a pain having Japanese as a first language in a school that spoke primarily english.
"Oh!" She nodded a little and slid the dictionary away, wrinkling her nose. "Oh..." Shihoko was in no mood for this assignment. None at all.

Right after Shihoko was in the room, Niki was next. She sat quietly in the first row, flipping through her Astronomy book. So it was a penumbral eclipse tonight, was it?
"Do you have any idea of where to start?" She asked, flipping her blond hair over her shoulder and glancing at Shihoko.

...review lunar eclipses if necessary. Take special care to notice the color change the moon experiences throughout the eclipse. What color does it become, and why? Explain in full sentences.

She looked around the room momentarily; Shihoko and Niki were the only ones there, so they were stuck on this, at least until someone else showed up!
