Emmy sat at a table, books sprawled out in front of her. She had so much that she needed to do lately. She'd thought that after her OWLs last year, she'd be able to relax a bit this year, but no such luck, it seemed. Quidditch team captain, piles of homework and writing letters to her family at home had all kept her so busy, she'd barely even seen her best mates.
Sighing, she leaned back in her chair, needing to rest her eyes and think about something, anything, but her Herbology or Potions homework. She closed her eyes and started to hum.
She began to sing softly, "Impossible for a plain yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage. Impossible for a plain country bumpkin and a prince to join in marriage..." and a grin spread across her face. Goodness knows, but musicals never failed to make her feel better.
She opened her eyes just in time to see someone looking directly at her. She smiled.
