It was a Sunday evening and all through the dorm, not a creature was stirring, save for poor Soren’s form. At first he sniffled, and then he coughed, but it wasn’t before long that he realized he had caught Avery’s illness.
Well, wasn’t that swell? It was a good old Sunday evening and here he was, curled up with his blanket with his back propped up against some pillows and attempting to read his Potions text between a sniffle here and there. Quite obviously, it was hard to concentrate on that when one was feeling like how Soren was feeling right now.
It really surprised him that he actually did get sick from an innocent little thing like that. He could still remember playing Quidditch against the rain and harsh winds last year for hours until Trefor caught the snitch. While everyone else had been sniffling and coughing up afterwards, Soren had been perfectly fine and healthy. Then again, this was probably a different situation.
He slouched down further in his bed and closed his book; that was enough reading for one night. If Snape was going to yell at him tomorrow, well, Soren would blow him a snot rag.
