But, as he rounded the lake, he saw that Ophelia was certainly doing....something. Just what that was, exactly, he wasn't sure. He quickly turned in the other direction, hoping she hadn't seen him.

"OI, back are you Gibbs? Classes and hexing in the corridors not enough?" picking up another slug attached to her robes, Ophelia waggled it in his direction, "Did we want to help with the sluuuggies dear?"
Making a face, she lobbed the creature a foot or two beyond the jar. It landed next to Mason's foot, and wriggled sadly.

"Oh, no, my dear Ophelia. I could never get enough of you. You are one of my absolute favorite people in the world." He rolled his eyes. He could play this game too. "No thank you, I wouldn't want to step on one of your dear ol' relatives, now would I?" And then she threw one at him. He stomped on it. Guts squirted everywhere. "Oh, sorry. Was that your mum?"

"YOU KILLED IT WHY DID YOU KILL IT IT DIDN'T EVEN DOOO ANYTHING TO YOU!" gasping for air, she went on, voice slightly louder, "MURDERER! BLOODY BIRDIE! SLUUUG MURDERER!"
Making a choking sound in the back of her throat, Ophelia sunk down to her knees in what seemed to be utter despair.
In the process, she managed to squish a slug that had been crawling up her shin. Looking up at Mason, her face went from contorted with sorrow, to a very wide grin.
"Aw, whoops. Well then..." prying the sticky mess off her leg, she flung it on the boy's shoe.
"Tsk tsk, look what happens when you aren't careful, hm? Flit off then dear, go on," she made a dismissive movement with her hand and went back to peering in the muddy water.
