Well, she had completely ruined her ability to concentrate on anything. It was exciting and happy and what have you, but it was oh so very frustrating as well. She'd filled four pages of her journal with an entry charmed private, trying to work out all her thoughts, and she had still gotten nowhere. Very unlike her, and yet a fascinating sort of new behavior that she wanted to hold onto.
Now she was curled up on a seat by the window, wrapped up in a blanket and drinking a cocoa. It was a bit early for it, as it wasn't even winter yet, but she didn't mind. It provided a warm and cozy feeling for her as she tried to remember what assigments she'd yet to do. Well, the answer was probably none. She did everything pretty much immediately, but the thought was still lingering around in her brain.
Maybe a distraction was in order.
