So it's 1:30 AM for me and I'm thinking about how this is the last weekend of the month and - quite possibly - the last weekend of the existence of hih_insomniacsThis has also been a rough and frustrating week for me in many ways, including physical pain from falling hard off a bike... so naturally I'm feeling a bit out of it even as I'm so happy it's weekend

I'm sorry I missed this when it was actual insomniacs hours... I've been having massive insomnia attack for weeks, so I took a codeine last night and then saw a big spider in my room as I was trying to fall asleep but it crawled behind a pile of papers I was too tired to sort through and spent like 6 hours high as a kite, drifting in and out of sleep while in the fetal position and having psychedelic nightmares about spiders. Typical Friday.

Also, I've missed most LJ posts this months... what's going on with insomniacs? :C

Insomniacs is being closed :( After this term, that's it :(

It was surprising which of the communities ended up being closed... WB and Yearbook I understand - but Insomniacs was and is one of the most active communities in HiH! (True fact: the month that the closure was announced, more people participated in Insomniacs, which is closing, than either Animagus or Sorted Challenge, which are staying open.)

Also, it seems that the interests of HiH are skewed MUCH more towards graphics creation than other things - for example, it seems HiH can support two communities solely for graphics (SC and HI) but only one writing community, and even that community has almost as much graphics going on as writing!

Yeah, I was surprised too! I think it's a shame :( Ahh, really? I didn't know that...

Aye, that's true! I'm not so good at graphics either xD Much better at the writing, myself! Though I do like to see others' creations :)

I'm getting back into HiH again and doing loads of activities :D I'm falling in love with it all over again! :D

And I'm so excited that I was just elected Daily Prophet Editor again! :D

I also need to edit a fic, but I think I may eat first... and then watch the last two Game of Thrones episodes...

Right now, I'm trying to savor the memories and excitement of this community. Also, my hands are s-l-o-w-l-y healing from a nasty incident with scraped skin from falling off of my bike... 2.5 days later and things are clearly improving but it's still hard to do anything that really involves the palm area near my wrists.

I'm nervous about my future plans, of course - with a big interview week coming up very soon - but at least I feel the worst is over in many ways!

Oer, I'm sorry you fell off your bike :( That sounds nasty. I hope your wrist is a bit better now!
