Thanks for rec'ing this and giving some explanation of what the show consists of! I've heard ads for it on another podcast I listen to and have been wondering if it would be worth the listen. Have you tried the HP seasons of Binge Mode? That's another one I keep meaning to check out.
Ooh, this sounds really interesting! I actually took a college class on the Theology of Harry Potter and it shares some similar ideas with this! We discussed a lot of overarching themes like what you described here. Plus how HP's themes compared / tied into real world religions, the hero's journey in general, and diving into moral questions and problems posed by the books. :D
Oh this sounds like it will be nice for when I am finished with New Wizards, a very indie (they don't even have ads) podcast with 2 friends, one of whom has never read the series. They're going through it together bit by bit and I am on Deathly Hallows, so...it's gonna end soon! lol
