You know the sudden outbreak of chocolateries in sydney? The Max Brenners, and the Aztec/Mayan place on glebe point road to name a couple?
Why?
A couple of years ago, it was the juice bar era. Did all those Boost Juice, Vibe and all the copycat juice places inspire such a level of assumed health in the population that now we reckon that we can handle store after store dedicated to chocolate overload?

By the way, yes i do agree that steaming the milk and chocolate together has resulted int eh best milky HCs i've had in my life. That given the clarification that the Max Brenner HC is so thick as to almost not qualify as a drink so much as a slightly running ice cream topping.
At the aztec/mayan place in glebe, the hot chocolate comes out as something akin to hot yogo. Weird texture, impossible to drink, great as an ice cream topping, and perfect for melting ice cream into in order to generate a more physically drinkable beverage.

I know you shouldn't play with your food, but when everything is chocolate, it is just too much fun!

Cupcakes in SummerHill are good - there is a little BabyCakes shop that sells mini cupcakes. Adorable, and virtually bitesize.
