I agree the beginning was a bit draggy, but all that character developmemt & psychological crap was really the point, after all.

The beginning? Beginning is 5 minutes, 10 minutes - 15 minutes tops, not more than an hour. True - the movie is about "understanding" the roots of Batman, but it could have been made so much better. Keeping regurgitating the same lines over and over (and over) again using the same shticks is bad cinema.

I hate drinking. I don't like being drunk (in retrospect that is). I don't like babbling incoherently. I don't like jumping up and down like the goddamn Energizer bunny that has something stuck up his ass. I don't like feeling so good and waking up the next morning feeling like crap (and not from hangover). I don't like... bah... let's just leave it with "I don't like".

And just to think that you've tried your best to make ME (and probably quite a few others) go and get drunk as well. Is that your "if I'm miserable, let everyone be miserable as well" tactic? :-P
