Summary: Capture of the head bad guy.
Amanda rejoined Duncan a few minutes later. "I found two more, but that was all," she whispered. "I took a look out one of the back room windows. Looked pretty empty out there."
Duncan nodded. "Hilda seems to have done her part. Did you have trouble getting in?"
Amanda grinned. "I'm here, aren't I?"
Duncan might have replied, but he heard approaching footsteps from within the room. He flattened against the wall on one side of the door, while Amanda did the same on the other.
"…pening out there," they heard, and then the door flew open. A tall, thin man strode through, followed closely by Eric Lee and the one Duncan had seen in the park leading the others. Duncan grabbed the first one out, Amanda the second, and Nick stopped the third. Surprise was on their side, and soon all three were unconscious on the floor.
Methos peered out at the results. "Not bad."
"I'm glad you approve." Nick seemed eager for more action, judging by the way he looked around. "Any left?"
"We got all the ones inside," said Amanda. She was looking at her hand, frowning. "Damn! My nail broke!" She glared at the man she had hit.
"It won't kill you," said Duncan. "The rest are outside, but they may be back soon." He glanced at Methos. "These three we take?"
Methos nodded. "Fireman's carry." He pulled the unconscious body of Lee up and, grunting slightly, swung him over one shoulder. "I'll take this one. I owe him a conk on the head myself."
Nick looked at Duncan. "Which one do you want?"
"Doesn't matter." Duncan lifted the one closest to him, which happened to be the tall thin one. Nick shrugged and grabbed the third, and followed the other two down the hall and out the door.
"I'll be along in a minute." With those words, Amanda slipped into the room where Methos and Nick had been meeting with the Hunters.
