I think that Red Rover is a step up from Capture the Flag. Less conflict I guess, everyone ends up on the winning side in the end. It looks like you all had a good time anyway.

I've walked on so many battlefields. Nearly every spring after, flowers grow. Daisies, poppies... what will come up this time?

I guess there's something to be said for good fertilizer.

What is it they say, about clouds and silver linings?

Everyone of them. Silver goes well with white and gray. I'm not too surprised. Are you?

Sometimes.

This isn't a request, either.

This time?

Remorse and guilt, mostly.

I know that can't be what you've planted in your garden. What else?

Nasturtium and red poppies. Calendula.

Do you study the language of flowers, Justin?

I don't like battles.

But I do like flowers.

What do you make of the struggle between the flowers and weeds?

I think weeds wouldn't be called weeds if they were as pretty as the flowers.

Prettiness doesn't matter to me.

A garden is a garden no matter what grows.

How are you, Kay?
