As some of you know, I went to Joplin yesterday to help with storm cleanup.  It's only an hour's drive away, and when we first got news that the storm hit last sunday night, enough of us have friends and family there affected by what happened that it was just a little too close to home for us to sit back and watch.  So a group of 20 of us got

Thank you for sharing these pictures. The amount of damage is sobering - and the number of selfless people who have responded is moving, comforting. There's a group here that left for Joplin earlier this afternoon, and I wish I had the resources to just drop everything and go. I'm house sitting for another friend who went, at least.
