Sounds like I picked a good night to not watch the episode then, huh? lol
I should be feeling bad about that but the way this season is going, I'm definitely not regretting missing episodes that I would feel indifferent to or want to rage in confusion about.
Lisa just needs to be gone. I'm really disliking her now, she amounts to nothing but this lameass storyline of Dean's that is just, ugh.
Yeah, you really didn't miss much. It was actually sort of awkward and just...weird. Not necessarily in a bad way just...I don't even know. It was just a little bit of a letdown after last week.
Lisa is so goddamn pointless it's not even funny. I just groan every time I see her.
It seems the more they try with new stuff the more awkward and weird the show has become. I don't mind change, especially changes in direction for the show, but there needs to be a fluidity with it whereas it seems these episodes (as in the episodes with the Winchester angstfest) there just is none. What is this season, I just don't understand.
This is why I keep saying, should have had a spin-off with Castiel/the angels and Crowley.
I never wanted to hate Lisa. I liked her when she first appeared back in S3 (when she used to not want to be with this random dude who comes in and out of her life unexpectedly and brings danger into her and her son's lives), but they are really pushing it to where I'm just like GTFO my show, you're stupid why are you even here? I just, no. No no no. >:/
Next week's episode looks a lot better, though, judging from the preview.
Overall, the feel of this season has been extremely awkward. Like, they're trying to do all these new and different things--which I'm totally cool with--but they aren't sure how to do them. So it comes across as half-assed and uncomfortable. A few things have impressed me, but basically I just want them to get things under control and decide just what the fuck they actually want to acheive with this season.
It's like there's still too many freaking writers/producers, and no one's ideas actually fit together with another's.
Anyway. Lisa was definitely acceptable and cool when she first showed up. But god, why are they trying to shove her down our throats?! Just...let us part ways. We don't need her. She doesn't need us. End of story.
Next week looks like a doozy. I'm excited to actually get some explanation for what's been going on. I mean...hopefully we'll get something explained, otherwise imma start throwing things.
1. Dean needs more timely cultural references if he's going to keep up with the under 25 crowd. But seriously, I LOL'd at that :D 2. Seconded. 3. Oh but Dean wanted to drink Sam's blood so badly. "Your blood is so freaking loud!" 4. Sam's creepy smile sent shivers down my spine and I'm not sure how I feel about that. 5. Ben was cute when he was bein' all mini!Dean, WTF happened to that? 6. I see your "meh" and raise you a *shrug*. 7. See #3 above. 8. Amen sister. 9. I didn't see that movie, booo. 10. I miss you toooooo, Sammeh. Be weepy and emo again so Jess and I can make a fangirl sandwich and hug you and squeeze you and make you allllll better.
1. Dude, right?! I love though, how he goes from referencing Lady Gaga to Hanson in a matter of 2 episodes. Dean's a spaz. 3. Ha! Now I need some sexy vampire!Dean sniffing Sam all over and moaning over how good he smells and how awesome his blood sounds XD 4. Apparently creeper!Sam is teh sex. And we didn't know it. Who woulda thought *shrugs* 7. Again. Dean sniffing Sam. I just need them smelling each other. Still. And Sam getting all hot and bothered by wild animalistic!Dean, because it reminds him of Hell....Oh Lord, now I need demon!Sam/demon!Dean. I read one once, but I lost it, which is a shame because it was delicious. 9. YOU MUST SEE THAT MOVIEEEEE! Do it now! 10. Emo Sam is the better Sam. WE WANT HIM BACK! I'm totally up for a Sammy sandwich. We'd be good for him ;D
This week gets an epic shrug and a half-hearted sigh. Last week was better. That's all.
I swear, every single one of your reviews has been an absolute echo of my thoughts on this season.
I did love the Dean is a big ol' spaz and knows who 'Lautner' is moments, bacause WTF, I mean, really. And this ep gets my props based solely on the fact that for the first time at all this season I had a 'WHAT DOES THIS MEEEAAAAN?!' moment with Sam's creppy smile (even if it did just turn out to be the whole 'Sam's gone all Slayer and thinks the mission is what matters' and whatnot.
Still. Overall this gets a meh, and I don't see things getting much better any time soon.

Sam actually got the biggest reaction out of me. I did a little gaspy thing and may have said "Sammy, no!"
But that's it. Everything else was just meh *shrugs*.
