When Lisa popped up in Dean's dream, my sister started laughing and said, "I thought it was gonna be Sam."

SO DID MY FRIENDS. SO DID MY FRIENDS.

I love this Cas, too! He's this wonderful mix of awkward and kick-ass. It's like we got the best of both worlds here, and I applaud Misha for his superb acting.

Btw, Cas fucking owns you, Dean. In case you didn't catch that. (And now I really want to write that fic, where Sam and Dean get all weirded out about "the mark." "He might as well have peed on you, Dean." *giggles* Oh man.)

lksdfioskfs;lkdas;ldkasl;d;akdadsadlk;aL;AKSDL;SAKDASLKDA I FUCKING KNOW, RIGHT? (Also, please write this. Please.) When he mentioned that mark on the little child, my mind instantly flew to the boys' carved up ribs. I DON'T THINK IT CAN GET ANY MORE BLATANT THAN THAT. Oh, Sera, please prove me wrong. \o/

Editing because I spazzed too hard and hit "comment" before I was actually ready to post. >>I need Cas/Balthazar in my life, as well. SO MUCH LOVE FOR HIM. He was exactly how you described -- a mix ( ... )

I'll honestly admit that I've never been that impressed by Misha's acting skills, but, BUT...he knocked it out of the park in this episode. I couldn't freaking handle it!

When Cas started talking about the mark on the boy, I immediately thought of the handprint on Dean. WHY HAVE THEY NEVER ACTUALLY ADDRESSED THAT FUCKING HANDPRINT!!!! *flails* Last night was the closest we've ever come to, "Dean, I left my mark on you. You're mine."

Since I highly doubt we're ever getting Gabe back (*weeps*), Balthazar is a good replacement. I approve of him.

Edlund is going to have a glittery sparkle-storm of love and crazy fangirls coming his way to shower him with candy and rainbows. He doesn't need a stripper. Well...maybe one stripper.

CAS!!!

I always thought he was a BAMF, but I literally squeed the entire freaking time I was watching the episode! His incorrect usage of air quotes cracked me up SFM. And the fact that he actually talked about him and Dean's bond? Oh, man. I don't even ship them, but I don't know how you can't.

(and *sad face*, I want my emo Sammy back too...)

Sammy is not Sammy and it breaks my heart *sniffles* There's got to be a little Luci left in him. That's my theory. Plus, the Sam/Lucifer side of my brain goes into convulsing drool-fits just thinking about it, because let's face it, Lucifer getting all up in Sam just never ever gets old.

Cas's air quotes need to become a regular thing. OR he just needs to use them again (incorrectly) and have Dean teach him how to do it right.

"Whoa whoa whoa, Cas. Okay. If you're gonna use those things, you have got to learn how to use them the right way."

Cas would then be either adorably embarassed, or adorably indignant and stubborn about it. Or adorably both.

Hey, so ever since I watched the episode, I've been wondering about it and no one on my flist mentioned it... so I'm wondering if you have thoughts on it: How the fuck did Cas find them when he marked their ribs with his magic Enochian graffiti??

I thought it made them undetectable to angels, including Cas. I remember it because (1) it made for so much Cas cell phone hilarity that I was ever so grateful for it, and (2) not only did Cas pee on Dean mark Dean with his handprint when he gripped him tight and raised him from perdition, he also scribbled all over Sam and Dean's ribs.

Confused fangirl is confused.

Oooo, I hadn't even thought about that! You are observant!

Maybe it's because Dean prayed directly to Cas. Kind of like a Voldemort name-tracking thing, in Harry Potter. Anytime someone said Voldemort, what was it, the Ministry of Magic had like an immediate GPS signal on you and tracked you down? So, if Dean prays directly to Cas, there's some weird little signal that starts blipping and Cas can follow it.

Maybe? Or maybe the writers are just shockingly inconsistent, yet again.
