docs. they vary so much! me friend ria had one who decided that she should be better, after her op, even tho she clearly wasn't. you can't just decide someone should be better and therefore it's their fault they aren't, without considering other things. but he did i've had docs give me diet pills without weighing me they can sucjk SO MUCH! just go back, try again, it seems to be the only thing you can do. keep trying until you find one who gets it. poor chris! tho a course could be good for him, i totally get why he would be afraid of freezing and not being able to do it. what's good for you, isn't always what's doable :(
Sorry to hear that the docs are being less than useful.
Is there something Chris could look at doing from home, be it a job or some distance learning? It would remove the need for him to be put in a stressful/ unknown situation. Or if he wanted to perhaps something like helping in one of the independant record stores.
Gosh, what a total idiot ... seriously, if she can't be arsed to read the file correctly and then she comes up with even more stressors ... Even I, who don't have her fancy diploma, can tell you that you do not solve such a situation with adding more stressors!
katalyah's idea about helping in an independent music store could be a good idea ... if he's up to something
Locally to where I live people with "difficulties" are often placed in charity shops, but the small Indi record store sounds like a possibility.
A friend of mine who has had various difficulties is doing a collage course (clothes design) working from home, so maybe there is the possibility of something not to taxing and could be done a Chris’s own pace of his choosing that could be studied from home.

That's starting downhill already. And against better judgment I'm still amazed that these things happen in this day (and age).
