naturally being at GLBT writer (or at least in part) this has been flying around on my authors' list. To say the least it didn't surprise me and at the same time it did. Meredes Lackey had a main character be gay some 25 years ago in a YA book. Clare's City of books one of the main characters is gay.

My YA book, yeah the main supporting character is gay and the whole theme of the murder plot is predicated on intolerance towards women and gays so not being able to sell it would piss me off
