Justina Robson, who grew up and still lives in Leeds, set part of Living Next Door to the God of Lovein Leeds and the Haworth area. Also, as dumb as I feel about mentioning myself, I set A Most Improper Magick in Yorkshire because I was living there at the time, and specifically based my imaginary "Grantham Abbey" (where Kat spends 2/3 of the book) on Yorkshire's Bolton Abbey, where I spent a lot of time walking our dog and feeling creatively inspired.
