Guitar Heroics

For a couple of people so adamant about playing "real guitars", listening to Chris trying to teach his guitar teacher to play Guitar Hero is highly amusing. Especially as they are two people who regard any kind of technology as alien and scary :) I have already been in twice to sort them out. (a) might be because they don't want you to pay for food for them and (b) might just be a timing thing. I know that I should have food when I'm hungry or otherwise I get quite irritable. They might just have quite a particular routine.

I'm not sure about my assumptions but I think I've done enough Devil's advocating here. Try not to feel too bad about it.

I'm not really annoyed, I'd rather not cook (ever!), but when you've phoned someone up three days before and specifically invited them FOR DINNER, turning up with fish and chips seems a bit, well, cheeky... Not to mention that I could have spent the afternoon making something which then wouldn't have got eaten. If it was a one off I wouldn't be moaning, but there have been a few times where I've either cooked or gone out and bought something special just because they were coming and then they've brought their own food :(

Well, I thought that there may have been extenuating circumstances but they've done it a few times so it may be time to comment to them about it. You've put in time, effort and money (unless you're robbing supermarkets nowadays :P) and it's not really polite if you've invited them for dinner and they don't want to eat your food.

Maybe an allergy that you don't know about?

Parents don't believe we can cook. I think they think we all live on takeout and cheese on toast ;)
