OMFG!!!! I can't believe my mom! I finally told her that I'm bi, and what does she do? She doesn't beleive me because I 'haven't shown any signs'. Want to know why I haven't? Because I've been hiding it from you because I knew you'd react like this!!! And I over heard my parents talking about it. My mom said that if I don't change, then she ( Read more... )

No, I am allowed to keep the door closed when guys are over, but not girls. I would think they would mind me fooling around with girls. Since you know, they can't get me pregnant and all

God, that's...strange.
But, I'm 20 and haven't told my parents yet.
My mom didn't believe me because of the same reason your mom gave. Being Bi or Gay may be a 'psychological imbalance' but it's not a psychosis! We're NOT insane, people.
I haven't told my dad, because he already thinks I hate him. That would just...confirm it.

They can threaten to kick you out, but you can always threaten to move out too.

I've never been the one for the normal plan on these sorts of things, but I'm assuming you could do independent study for the classes required to graduate, graduate and get a job and move in with friends/find some roomate and spend a few years saving up some money and then move onto college when you're 21 or so. The graduation thing should only take 2-3 months if you work through it quickly.

Here's how I see it. Everything that you are told has 3-4 choices. Belive it, disbelive it, do it, or reject it. On everything you are told to do or told exists, these options are there. Even if "do it" or "belive it" seem like the only ones, you still have more.
