oh guess what, i got the roots album that has "you got me" on it.. it's really good. my other favorite song on it is "act too...the love of my life."

also, i wanted to ask you: did your hibiscus plants bloom?? mine keep forming buds but the flowers refuse to bloom! new york city is not treating them so well.

oh i keep meaning to ask you about that! mine has formed 3 buds and they have all fallen off randomly, right before they were going to bloom. this is very upsetting to me. it seems like someone come by with a pair of scissors and chops them right off just as they are going to turn into flowers. i guess this could be the reason why they keep falling off, but i dont think anyone in my family would do that...? i dont have any idea what's going on...does this seem like a sympton to some kind of hibiscus plant disease?

yeah the same thing is happening to mine.. a bunch of buds formed but they seemed to just disappear. also a lot of leaves have turned yellow and fallen off. i want to ask debbie for her expert advice, but she is out west somewhere without a phone.

but, right now there are a couple buds that are actually starting to open--they look promising, i'll let you know how it goes!
