Well, I got a tattoo. It hurts now. It looked good when I saw it at the tattoo parlor, and it's going to be with me forever. Hopefully this perma-stinging will fade a bit sooner

It does get significantly better after 3-4 days. Mine healed about like a sunburn, but it's not huge either. When do we see pictures?

Haha! Everyone has different levels of pain tolerance. Females, for example, have a higher pain tolerance. We do give birth, after all! You're right though, anyone who says it doesn't hurt at all is probably full of shit. And I agree with the above comment- pictures!!

There is different pain tolerances, indeed, as well as different ways of coping with such pain. Although I have to note, that I didn't cry while Ivyriver cried through most of hers. (Then again, a lot of hers was along her spine.) But it was a bit tense here and there.
