Questions Related to Last Post

A lot of my friends are suggesting demanding I get this or that for my tooth done for free because my concerns were ignored. How would I go about asking that? One person I know suggested seeking free advice from a lawyer. But which lawyer should I talk to? What does dentistry fall under? (Like there are divorce lawyers, immigration lawyers, etc etc ( Read more... )

Even if you weren't hounding the dentist every day, they still failed to provide you with a service that you paid for and it's resulted in a much worse situation, and therefore you should be able to take legal action. I know nothing about law in the US though :/ Do you have a version of the Citizen's Advice Bureau? Or does your uni have a place that offers legal advice in the Student Union?

I'm sorry this is such a crappy situation :/

Well, I haven't paid for the crown. I paid for a root canal...which may have caused my tooth to break.

I don't know if we have something similar...a plantiff/personal injury lawyer usually gives out advice for free, but I have to find one that specializes in dental cases...in Northern Virginia because of course ALL THE STATES have to have different rules and regulations...

It is. I'd at least like my root canal money back since obviously it's going to be removed.
