Does Canada even have a pledge of allegiance? I'm starting to think it's an American thing only! (Though technically there was something involving bowing to portraits to the Emperor of Japan but that was back during the Meiji era - I don't think it made it to the Taisho era.)

Matty would wait to see if they mistook his brother for him, considering how often they think he is America. So if his brother didn't make it out alive, then he'd know better to go in himself. Or something like that.

I do the pledge every day in my school, which is kinda annoying since it's always at the worst times we're required to do it.

I remember it fondly for elementary school - you were badass if you could master it AND say it with feeling.

AHAHAHA oh god, if you ever find it, do show me. I've seen fan art of him in the mountie uniform. XD My favorite one was based off of the "Canadian, Please" video because that song is hilarious. XD
