I know the feeling. It really sucks. I hope it all works out for you. :3

I hope so too. I mean yes I can get other jobs but this is a job I want to do! A job where I can finally use what I spent so much money and time on to learn.

-nodnod- I felt the same way when I was looking at some of the available internships/jobs during the summer. They all require a Master's degree or higher. D:

Well you can't help that, since you don't have those. But I have Japanese skills, I CAN translate, the problem is they want me NOW, and I have to go through the right channels to LEAVE my current job. Being employed has given me a handicap and they don't know if they want to hire me since they have to wait two weeks till I can start. It's frustrating.

Congrats on Nintendo liking you! Hopefully you will be able to work there! If you get a job with them, where will you be living? Did you ever find out if you got into the JET program? Good luck! I've been sending out letters and resumes to several schools and have not heard back for jobs--so I know the frustrating feeling too. Well, if Nintendo really wants you, they will wait for you. =)

Well I think they like me...I hope to hear more positive stuff from them in the week...
If I get a job with them, I would still be here in Seattle, unless my roomie and I want to move to Redmond/Bellevue. Either way, I would still be in Washington state as their main building is out here.

I'll find out about JET in April. XD;

Really? Did you try reformatting your resume? Seemed to help me...but so did Monster.com hahaha...but I'm not sure if online sites would be good for finding a teaching position...

I hope you get something soon!

Yeah, question is, do they really want me? =/

I recently reformatted and updated my resume. I don't think I need to use Monster.com. From what I understand (and heard from other teachers), when I see a job posted on the PWC website, I have to contact the principal to show interest in the job. Hopefully, I will hear back from the schools--or else I will write and email them again until I get a response (I heard you have to be persistent like that). It would be really cool to work for a videogame company. If you get the job with Nintendo, what will your job be?

Oh ok. Well keep at it then! They will have to give in! MWHAHAHAHA!
It would! I'd translate materials sent between Japan and the US. It'd be secret so I couldn't discuss it, but it would be fun I think.

Thanks! I'm hoping the fact that I can leave this job and go there asap will entice them to hire me. Don't know how they feel about my trip to Japan - there's no way I am cancelling that. DX
