01. During Christmas break, I have no life. Fandom takes over my mind. It's pathetic and I know this, just so we're clear.

02. I'm a horrible person for not listening to you guys sooner and checking out Firefly. I'm in love. Seriously. I kind of had low expectations for it and was only really watching it because Jacob (cute guy in my art classes)

2. YAYAYAYYA! FIREFLY JUST GETS BETTER.

Yes, Kaylee/Jayne! When I first saw it and Jayne was looking at her through the window, I thought that their relationship would developed on the show. I love their little moments.

3. I thought Reed Fish was mediocre? It was a fun hour to waste though.

2. I'M SO EXCITED TO WATCH MORE. And also a little depressed at the thought of it ending.

And Kaylee/Jayne are so adorable. She's so cheery and he's so moody that it's the perfect balance. And he is so in denial about his feelings. Every time she even talks to another guy (especially the doctor) he gets all defensive and cruel as a defense mechanism.

If the show wasn't already over, I would already have a site... still might actually ;)

3. It wasn't the best movie over but I did enjoy it. Like I said, the format and the fact that it was actually the life story of a guy named Reed Fish (making it a movie inside of a movie inside of a movie) made me really like it. Plus, Alexis Bledel was so incredibly gorgeous in all of her scenes. I want to make R/J icons with those caps lol.

Yeah, yeah, it has been a while since that happened. And Firefly really is amazing. You need to add it to the list of shows you'll eventually watch.

Yeah, yeah. I'M SUPPOSE TO SEE JUNO TOMMORROW. *is excited* And if Sidney bails on me, I swear I'm getting my dad to drop me off at the theater and I will see it alone if I have to.

I was surprised at how much I loved Firefly too. I love that Joss Whedon created an entirely new vocabulary and managed to create a pretty compelling sci-fi show. "Out of Gas" is one of my favorites, but I think that's a little later in the season. Although, to be honest, all of the episodes are pretty great, so enjoy it :)

Exactly! The vocabulary and world itself is my favorite part about the show, aside from the amazing character dynamics he's created. He also goes about explaining it really well, it's not confusing or dumb-downed.

On most shows there are episodes that I like more than others, and episodes that I can't stand, even of my all time favorite shows. That has yet to happen with Firefly. Ever episode is like this amazing mini-movie that you can't help but sit on the edge of your seat for.

Damn, I really need some good Firefly icons now.

I think I once read a Joss Whedon interview where he said that Firefly is a very vague retelling of our own Civil War (told from the South's perspective). One of the things I've always loved about the show is how easy it is to rewatch episodes, even out of sequence. I used to have a ton of Firefly icons, but I took them out of rotation a little while after the movie came out. Coincidentally, if you haven't watched Serenity then definitely check it out after watching the rest of the set :)

YAY I KNEW YOU WOULD LIKE FIREFLY! :D I told you it was amazing. However as the show goes on, I will not spoil as to who but YOU MUST LIKE KAYLEE WITH ANOTHER CERTAIN MALE. YOU MUST. Keep watching and you will see. I promise. ;)

Also, I feel you on Roswell. I miss that show so much, ugh. I just rewatched the whole series recently and fell in love all over again.

IT SO IS. New obsession for sure. Uh-oh. New guy for Kaylee that's better than Jayne? *is skeptical* We'll see. Is he a new guy or Simon the doctor?

It is equally amazing. I am so addicted. Michael/Maria dang it!!! I don't have words for how much I love them.

Damn, I need to find Firefly and Roswell icons. *sigh*
