Azula, stop being stubborn. You chose Haru, I didn't. You constantly do things to spite me and then expect me to just accept it. Your mother's parents agree with me. We're never going to agree to him being in the family. I am not willing to help him, but I am willing to help you. You are my daughter. Nothing can change that. Frankly, this guy scares me. You are in the outskirts of town, you have been separated from all your friends and family, and he's off in Asia, leaving you alone. Surely, you see why I am concerned. You are a beautiful girl, you deserve better.

He scares me because he acts like a stalker. I'm sorry if a loving father can't provide psychotic treatment and isolation. Azula, see sense. You both eloped like pregnant teenage...you aren't pregnant, are you?

No, Father. Unlike you, I have no desire to populate the world with heirs. Shocking as it may seem, I married for love. You know, that emotion you like to reference from time to time but have no clue as to what it means? And only you would see love, genuine interest, and affection as stalkerish traits.

Thank God, best news I've had all week. I know what love is. I am calling you to check up on you, aren't I? I care deeply about you. You have been isolated from everyone. Why can't you see that? Love, genuine interest and affection doesn't mean you have to change your life entirely for them. Azula, you were always so...commanding. What happened to you?

If I have been isolated from everyone, that is more your doing than anyone else's. What did you think would happen when you decided to exclude me from the only life I've ever known? I had to make a new life... one I am in command of, whether you think so or not.

I want you to really think about who you are and what you can be. Stop being spiteful and antagonistic and remember what you can be. Remember and see things for what they are.
