Can't help you there, but I do adore the Nine Inch Nails version of Dead Souls (from the first Crow soundtrack).

Aside from the 500+ dreadful covers of "Love Will Tear Us Apart", there are some really good songs (especially 7 Seconds' cover of "99 Red Balloons")

Some covers make me want to lose the ability to hear. But some of them just kick ass!

Agreed. There have been some covers that seriously one-up the originals! And some that could make the Baby Jesus cry.
