With the passage if NAFTA the bill of goods included "a service based economy" in which a higher education was vital. I know and soon will have kids who are working a job, have all the scholarships and grants that working very hard in high school can get you, will be going to a state school and still will be burdened by a high debt load due to really unreasonable costs.

We have been sold out, and both parties are to blame. Voting Republican is just saying you want a different set of rights taken from you than the ones currently being taken away.

How is a service based economy contingent on higher education? (Which, if you listen to Obama, means nothing less than college.) Somebody has to cook the french fries. (HH,OS)

Why is technical or trades education deprecated? They can't outsource plumbing, after all.

The federal government has eliminated private financing of school loans. Advocates for "higher education" would love nothing better than for everyone to be in debt to the government for a college degree; indentured into Obama's civilian service corps to repay it.

And I'll bet you were taught that slavery was outlawed ...

Hating Obama while ignoring the wrongs of both parties plays right into their system. Bravo.

I couldn't help but notice you didn't respond to any of my questions. Bravo.

JSYK, I look forward to the Tea Parties' ongoing gutting of the Republican party, as the social conservatives and RINOs mislead the party into betraying the fiscal conservatives again and again.
