"Aw...aw, no, come on!" Hardison threw down the controller as his opponent hit him with another goddamned mushroom and took his eyes off the screen long enough to glower at his opponent. It didn't matter now, there was no way in hell he would win. "I knew the computer was a cheating bastard, but come on!"
Faith all but cackled as she piloted Yoshi over the finish line. Cheerful victory music played as that stupid little lizard did its victory dance. Looking obscenely pleased with herself, Faith leaned back on her hands and smiled sweetly over at him. "It's no big," she said. "You've lived through one high speed car chase, you've lived through 'em all."
