A/N: -First Beast's fic ever written *blushed*. Don't know what to say, feel different from my former works.
-Un-beta-ed, like almost all of my writings.
-Dooseob is my Beast otp but I don't know them long so I'm quite nervous on my foray of writing them xp. And Junseob is getting closer in the second place >_<.
Yoseob hold his breath and puffed out his cheek before making his way to a corner of a cubicle of the morning train that he had to take every day. It’s not totally rush hour yet but the crowd was already quite heavy. His usual corner was fortunately empty so today, he could stand with his back to the glass without too many body cramped his all through the way, hopefully.
After three stations, a body came close and rested beside him, a bit taller and a little broader. Yoseob kept his eyes on the window glass, looking outside in hope to not fall asleep standing. One of his bad habits was that he couldn’t stand rides. Put him in a car and after five minutes he’d be out. Any ride, anytime, any position.
When his head thumped the glass for the third time in a minute time, it’s not a surprise when Yoseob felt his head being pulled and he was tucked to a shoulder. Too sleepy to say anything, he murmured a thank you with a sigh and welcomed the dark. He knew the person who the shoulder belong to would understand. Besides, it had been his pillow everyday for the past year.
Doojoon nudged the other boy’s head off his shoulder when the train arrived at their station. He put an arm on Yoseob’s shoulders to steady him and gently pushed him forward. It always took few seconds for the shorter boy to come out of his hazy sleepiness.
Yoseob managed to get out of the train without any stumble and yawned his sleepiness away. His feet were taking him wherever Doojoon leading them, with a hand on a small of his back. This was their daily routine. Yoseob can do it even if he really was sleeping but he knew Doojoon would smack him awake if he ever did.
Outside the station, Yoseob finally was truly awake and yawned for the last time. His hand absentmindedly reach for something to hold on to and like usual, it found purchased on the sleeve of his companion. He gripped and tugged a little.
Doojoon looked to his side and smiled, “Hmm?”
“I’m hungry.”
Doojoon shook his head and ruffled Yoseob’s hair. “You always hungry in the morning. Why do you always leave your house without eating first?”
“Cause I want to be in the same train with you. My house is farther than yours. If I don’t go earlier, I won’t be able to catch the same train” Yoseob said matter of factly.
Doojoon stopped in his track and sighed. He looked at Yoseob, who’s bordering on pouting and laced their hands together. One of the things that made him fall in love with Yang Yoseob was because of his seemingly meaningless devotion, things that people won’t notice for the value of it. But the thing actually ran deep. His heart expanded, filled with warmth that only caused by Yoseob. Doojoon promised himself that he’d always love the other boy forever and will try to be a better boyfriend.
Yoseob looked up and raised his brows in question.
Doojoon leaned down and pecked the shorter boy’s lips before resumed walking. Pulling the clueless boyfriend of his to their school.
“I’ll buy you food at the stall near our school, okay?”
And that simple thing would make a big bright smile transformed over Yoseob’s face. Because Yoseob’s knew, that Doojoon appreciate the seemingly meaningless devotion.
