Yes, for me too when it comes time to talk about what I'm thankful for, it's usually the people in my life the most. And for me, I'm just thankful for my family as well as my friends... those who understand me when my family often can't.
So, you brine your turkey too. My mom only just started doing that recently-ish. It always turns out so much better by doing it that way.
And for the first time ever we had homemade cranberry-apple sauce. Twas pretty good, actually.
Oh! And homemade pie crust... my mom takes over that job, but it's rare that we have any pies with storebought crust. She's just like that. And I honestly think that extra bit of effort just makes it all taste so much better in the end, don't you?
And enough random ramblings from me. Happy belated Thanksgiving!
