This was really interesting. You did a good job with the prompt. One little thing, though -- wasn't Ezri a counselor, not a science officer?

There needs to be more Doctor Who / DS9 crossover fic!

Counselors were a part of the science division and wore the same color. A stranger wouldn't have known her exact title (as per the conceit of the first paragraph), though if I called her that later in the fic, that was definitely a mistake.

Ah, okay. I stopped paying attention to the uniform colors after ST:TOS, so I never even noticed that counselors were considered part of the science division. I also thought you were referring to Ezri's actual job title, and implying that she was wearing some sort of insignia or something that included that title. Clearer now, so thanks.

Here from who_daily. I jumped out of my chair when I saw 'Ezri Dax' in the characters. DS9! DS9 is my favorite, tbh, and nobody ever writes it. I rarely review things, but I love how you kind of glanced over Team TARDIS (a team that would have been interesting if it had only happened!) without making it a big deal nor the central concept of the story, and I never really thought of the similarities between Dax and the Doctor, but this was awesome. Thank you.

This particular Team TARDIS came about...well I don't really remember how I came up with it, but I've used it in the background for other fics, in the foreground for at least one and it's in my tardis_bigbang this year. Somehow it's very easy for me to slip it into the background.

This was my first time writing DS9, and I blame starting a rewatch just before the LGBTfest prompts went up. The prompt just jumped out at me and said write me. :)
