Hey bb. So. I'm going to make the executive decision and say that anyone who went above and beyond the points cap under the new points system will be able to count the excess towards next week's points cap. So if someone maxed out with fic under the new system that's like...208 points. So 33 points will go towards next week. :3 Sound fair?

AND TO PEOPLE READING THIS, THAT'S ONLY RETROACTIVE. If you go over the points cap from now on, tough luck (said as lovingly as possible)

And as to the criteria, we are still working with the mods on coming up with examples for y'all (which is why this post was delayed but we decided it couldnt wait anymore) but the short explanation is that detail is the key difference between them. So if someone isn't the best artist but obviously tried really hard on their art they would qualify for good or very good under this new system. SORRY. WE WILL BE MORE SPECIFIC SOON

So is anything we wrote and already posted being scored in the new points system? I had 118 points using the old system for my post earlier today, which I was going to max out by adding another drabble, but I would be definitely maxed out already if you were counting those with the new system.

lol I guess a very confusing way to ask- does the new point system start from the time this post was made? Or is it retroactive to the beginning of the term?

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm just lost lol

Oh sorry! I thought I said that, but realized I only did in my head. XD It's retroactive. What we decided to do for those who submitted works already using the old system is to calculate them using the new system and any points above and beyond the 125 cap will be applied towards next week. For example, your post is worth 183 points under the new system, so you will have 125 points for this week and 58 points have been applied towards your cap for next week.

...This is why I shouldn't be the one in charge of explaining things XD

Hey~ I just wanna clarify, "finished" artwork still refers to digital/physical which are colored, right?

Under the new system, "finished" artwork can also include uncolored pencil drawings that are more detailed than sketches or doodles. :3

So, by photomanips, you mean superimposing faces onto different bodies, or putting two scenes together etc etc right? Or, I made this a while back: http://i35.tinypic.com/34insl2.jpg

...don't ask :P

Exactly :-) And the thing you linked to would also count (as an excellent one)
