The inspiration for the Prewitt's are the Winchester brothers, right? Just checking. Cool. Might make more sense if I actually watched the show.

The brothers Prewett and the brothers Winchester do have their similarties, but I had this idea of them way back. The banter from the brothers Winchester though, that makes it much more realistic and is a springboard for me, as someone who doesn't have two brothers.

OMG I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! I'm still misty that the brothers are gone though. :*( I love their back and forth, even as they're being detained by death eaters. SO Gid and Fab.

I'm glad you liked it. It was really tough trying to write their death, you know? Because I am convinced that had they been in a proper fight they wouldn't have died. I have venerated them to the "Divine Twins" status that's how much I love them :(

I think that's how they went down, fighting and wands blazing... even if they died with their backs to their fighters (cowards)

Brothers are heartbreaking, and I think I'm glad that both Prewetts died instead of leaving a spare, even though I rather they didn't. The original fic itself was about half its length and then I fleshed it out. The 'normal day' device made me a bit uneasy, but I'm glad that you liked it (even if it was heartbreaking)

There had to have been devastating parallels, but... I think Gideon was lucky in that he died as well. SEPARATING THE TWINS IS UNJUST AND UNCALLED FOR -weeps to JKR-

And yes. I have had friends burn tea. And then ask me HOW it was possible to burn tea. It tastes bad! Don't they know that?
