Title: Motivation
Summary: Quirrell is aware of his impending madness and death, due to the breakdown of his neural tissue from dark magic. (Set in a backstory fleshed out more at FFnet, where Nagini and Quirrell are both Voldemort’s familiars simultaneously.) Written for the prompt “The Writing on the Wall”.

OMG. I love this, and I love that you write Quirrell too! I role played him once (as a student) and I started to create my own headcanon and backstory for him. I'm now quite eager to read the story on ff.net.

Eeee, thank you so much!! I’ve had such fun creating vignettes for his character based off the prompts in this community. Because we don’t have a ton of backstory for him, there are so many possibilities.

Admittedly I didn't get to play him for long. It was a Twitter based role play game and there just weren't enough players. I did get to develop some of his backstory as a student and fleshed out his personality

Oh my yes, when it comes to A Very Potter Musical! All the humor in the backstory I wrote at FFnet completely sprung from watching that.

Also, I am so completely with you on the sexual intimacy of Voldemort's possession of Quirrell -- there are strong overtones of that in my backstory for him, and clear seduction involved.

How sweet! I never imagined Nagaini actually having feelings, and for Quirrell of all people, so this is an interesting little moment to write! And I love the little touch of humour at the end too!

So glad you enjoyed it! I had in mind a Nagini who’s gained unusual powers and feelings, courtesy of a shared familiar bond with Quirrell and far too much unicorn blood. ;)
