Thank you :) I mean, Albus was once a teenager, too, so I imagine he was like any other teenager when it comes to crushes.

I love this line, "Albus would always connect the taste of honey to Fingal and his kindness." I could see Albus doing this to objects, why he says in book 5 that he has far too many. He places his memories into things such as horcruxes but not as bad.

What would became of Fingal??

Oh man, what a bittersweet ending! I just want to give young Albus a hug and tell him it will be okay! I think you captured his character really well, like the line about him hating to be second best and the competition with is brother. A very lovely story!
