They meet in Scotland. Septima’s father left her the family home in Aberdeen, and she thinks she can be happy doing research away from the world for a few years. Pansy walks up the stone path toward her, still a little shaky from two rounds of Apparition. As she approaches, Pansy slips her hand into Septima’s, squeezing gently as if she is giving Septima support rather than seeking her own. Perhaps she is. Septima smiles and leans down to kiss her.
