Game 3 Points

Hufflepuff will not recieve points for Game 3. No one who has expressed an opinion has disagreed. In case you didn't read the latest posts, this is the situation: no one from Hufflepuff participated -- or even volunteered to participate -- for that game.

Gryffindor will recieve 135 game points, which is half of the total. All teams always get

I don't mind not getting points because we didn't participate, but I didn't just say "forget Quidditch!" The day and time we had that game (1:30-3:30) I had to work from 1-6.

I feel slightly hurt (I am super-sensitive) by the "or even volunteered to participate." I filled out all the polls but was (obviously) outvoted.

I don't want you to think that Puffs are flakes; we just have responsibilities like everyone else.

Now, if you come up with a system to pay me for being a Chaser, I will gladly ditch work. =) I'm sure most people feel the same!

(I really hope this comment doesn't sound hateful. I just want to express that I would've played if I could've, but I couldn't.)

All that was saying is that no Puffs played because no Puffs volunteered to play in that match. I think maybe you're seeing a meaning in my words that I didn't give them. What I said is entirely true; I didn't say anyone slacked off, that anyone wasn't committed to Quidditch, or that anyone skipped that match. I just said that no one from Hufflepuff volunteered to be there.

It wasn't like no Puffs played because I gave all the spots to Gryffindors. Why no Puffs were given spots is something that was asked about, and so I gave the reason in my post. That wasn't any judgement of the Puffs in that reason.

P.S. In this quote, "All teams always get half the total game points; to do otherwise with this case would be unfair to Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, who have both split points in half when playing with just 1 Snake", I think you meant to say Slytherin! :)

Well, Snake is understood to mean Slytherin -- or at least I thought it was! But you've bolded Hufflepuff, so I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. To give the Gryffs all the points for having all the players would be unfair, since the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs have had to split points in half in nearly the same situation when playing with just one Slytherin.
