The shops have moved to the System Click here for more information. The current deposit hasn't been made yet because we're trying to make sure that all of the items owned are correct.

Sorry it's so late getting to you. I didn't anticipate my life sucking me into a black hole this term. :-\ I know I just commented to your other post, and I was probably a bit snippier than I intended, so please accept my apologies. It's just a bit silly that people seem to be reacting so harshly to a few lines of coding with which they have no real emotional connection. O.o

This is an interesting idea. I also thought about maybe relabeling pet ownership as a license. In order to "own" the pet, you have to purchase an expiring license for it. I don't know where you live, but that's the way some of the local governments in the US handle pet regulations. In the System, if your license expires and you don't renew, then you lose the pet.

At any rate, it's something to consider once I've taken care of the changes that need to happen in this community. I've got to disable commenting in a lot of places and set up redirects. I'll be working on that this week.
